Abstract: At present work the influence and the role of the metallic component (Pt, Pd) of catalyst based on WO3/ZrO2 were investigated. Pt(Pd)/WO3/ZrO2 catalysts with platinum and palladium loadings in amount of 0.05, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 wt % were synthesized. For platinum containig catalysts it is shown the maximum yields of isomers are achieved at 1-2 wt % of Pt: sum of C7-isomers yield is 70-75 wt % and high octane dimethyl and trimethyl substituted isomers (DTMS) yield is 27-29 wt %. In the case of palladium containing catalysts 74 wt % yield of sum of C7-isomers and 29 wt % yield of DTMS are achieved at 0.1 wt % of Pd.
