Реферат:
The effect of WO3 modifier content (0–25 wt%) for a series of bifunctional Pt/WO3–Al2O3 catalysts (0.5 wt% Pt) for the hydrodeoxygenation of vegetable oil on the concentration of acid sites and the tendency to deactivation was studied using classical and probe EPR methodologies, as well as thermal analysis. It was found that high Brønsted acid sites (BAS) concentration, determined by probe EPR with perylene molecules, promotes more intense side processes of carbon deposit formation with paramagnetic sites in the structure. A probable mechanism for the formation of EPR-detectable carbon sites through cracking, cyclization, condensation, and aromatization reactions involving carbocations is proposed. The possibility of oxidative regeneration of active BAS in catalysts with EPR monitoring is demonstrated.
