Abstract:
Dynamic transformations of MnOx/Al2O3 catalyst for the high-temperature deep oxidation of hydrocarbons have been investigated by high-temperature in situ XRD. It is shown that the catalyst is a nanoheterogeneous system and that the
active manganese-alumina phase is a product of destruction of a Mn3-x AlxO4 solid solution, which is in equilibrium at the synthesis temperature but metastable at lower temperatures
